Sweet Sensation!

Ok, so lately my hair has been living off of sample shampoos and conditioners, courtesy of my mother. Since she is a cosmetologist, she and her company receive lots of free or discounted products to try. What I was given by her to try out and review were lots of hair products. From shampoos, heat protectors, leave in conditioners and "defrizzers", through out the years I guess you could say i've tried it all. Now, I would love to list all the things I got but, I'm only going to be discussing one product right now.
On to business, the product that stood out the most to me was this one here:

Sexy Hair's Chocolate Soymilk Shampoo.

What it does: Sulfate-free formula gently cleanses and nourishes all hair types without stripping color.

* Delicious chocolate milk fragrance
* Adds shine and smoothness
* Helps prevent color fading

Special ingredients: Chamomile, Nettle, Horsetail Extract

Fragrance: Chocolate Milk

Tips: Great for all hair types and ideal for daily use on color-treated hair. Follow with SoyMilk Conditioner.

Unfortunately, I didn't have the SoyMilk Conditioner :(, but i'll tell ya, I will for sure be buying this for myself. It smells delicious, just like chocolate. I had to call my husband into the bathroom just so he could smell it. He loved it. Hahaha! It just smelled sooo GOOD! And its not that kind of smell where its to overpowering and makes you or others feel nauseous. It has just the right amount of scent. So if you are the kinda girl who likes to smell scrumptious, then this shampoo is perfect for you.
It left my hair feeling silky, soft, and there was a definite shine to it as well.

Now you can buy these products from any professional salons that hold these products or to make it easier , just visit their website and look for a salon near you.
http://www.sexyhair.com/
The price range I think is, from $20-$15 maybe less i'm not sure.

Anyways, This was a looooong blog. Wow, so yeah, if you ever get the chance to try out this product, or any product from the Healthy Sexy Hair line, let me know. Of if you have already.

Thank You so much for stopping by and I hope you all have a wonderful day or evening!

Holiday Glam

Evening Everyone! I did another makeup look today. Kinda like a holiday glam look. With a soft shimmery gold e/s on the lid, a chocolate brown in the crease, and a fleshed toned highlight. Along with bright red lips. Unfortunately, my hubby didn't really feel that red was my color. So he said I should try it with a soft nude pink look. So I did. :D and I have to say, I liked his idea better. But you can do red if ya want. Hope you all like the pics.

So Far.......

Right now I am watching Spongebob with my lil girl and my husband is in the kitchen making dinner. I love when my man cooks. He makes good food even though we have little to choose from.
Lately I haven't been wearing makeup due to the fact that i'm sick. My nose is all runny and my skin is super dry. I've been having like 10 minute spas in my bathroom! Meaning, I would take my humidifier and fill it with warm water, add a teaspoon of salt and let it work its magic. I'd be sitting on the edge of the tub letting the steam hit my face, it works wonders for me. Afterwards I would use Johnson's baby oil as a moisturizer. But not too, just the size of a pea, I don't want to look like butterball.
ANYWAYS, my daughter is sick with fever and runny nose as well. She has been having fevers since Thanksgiving, we've taken her to the Dr. and Hospital and they tell us she needs no antibiotics. Just to keep giving her Tylenol and Motrin....sigh she is doing fine right now but we are monitoring her around the clock. I hate when she gets sick, I feel so helpless when I can't do anymore than I already have. I just want her to get better.
That's it for now I guess, like I said, i'll try and keep this updated as much as I can. Talking about makeup, product reviews, and random things.
Lots of love!

Fixing Shadows

Hello Again!
So today I decided to fix some of my broken and loose powder shadows. Then I got to thinking, why don't I make a whole different eyeshadow color??? So........I did.
I took my empty press powder case from Revlon and scraped in M
ilani Runway Eyes Eyeshadow in blues into the pan, then I added M.A.C. pigment Contrast (purple color) and last I added Splash Cosmetics Silver.
At first I thought to just swirl the colors together, but then instead I just flattened the colors down.
So it kinda has that Bitch Slap cosmetic look. But not exactly.
That's what it reminded me of though. Gosh would I love to actually have Bitch Slap eyeshadows!!!!!!
Anyways, I've posted pics below of what i've done. Once the one i've created is c
ompletely dry, I will post some swatches. Until next time!
Shani
Ok so this is what I created. Underneath the silver and purple i did mix all the Milani blues together. The MAC and Splash cosmetics I just sprinkled where I wanted it to be and then just flattened them into place.

Milani Eyeshadow blue

Revlon Quad. I fixed the white one. It was all broken. :(

I still want to fix the orange one. I really don't like seeing pan, and the red I already fixed,this pic was taken prior to it being pressed.

And this was Hot Topics loose neon green eyeshadow. For those of you who know what i'm talking about, you all know how messy it is. Yuck!

Update on Me.

Hello my Lovelies,
So apart from registering for spring semester, being mommy and wife, searching for apartments and creating new makeup looks......not much else is going on. Just living life and going with the flow. Looking into buying a car. Ours is currently dead. It finally decided to kick the bucket. Sigh* but she gave me and my husband a good 3 1/2 years from the time I got with him and before that God knows how long. So yes, I do plan on putting up more tutorials on youtube soon and on here as well. I haven't forgotten about ya'll. Just busy busy busy.
Oh I didn't get the Job at Sephora..........(crying in a corner....no not really) but yes, a very sad day for me. But hey its not the only job out there. Just a place with really awesome products and and and................ITS SEPHORA!!!!! Man! oh well life goes on.
thank you so much for stopping by and reading my blogs. I really appreciate it! Feel free to write to me or if you have any requests for makeup looks feel free. Just know that I don't have big brand name products just drug store makeup and maybe if I get so lucky my mother will bring me big brand name products. (she's a Cosmetologist) So yeah, just go ahead and ask or just write. I would love to hear from ya'll. I get bored so it'll give me something to do.

Sephora Interview!!!!!!!

Yay! So today I got a call back from Sephora to have an interview tomorrow! I haven't worked in almost 3 years! I'm so nervous! It's group interview so that's gonna make me even more nervous. I'm thinking of taking a portfolio with me of some of the looks i've done. (my hubby suggested it. Love you Babe!) Well i'm really hoping I get this job. I want a job so bad! Plus I would be working in an area surrounded with what I crave the most. MAKEUP!!!!! Aaah so wish me luck everyone!

Also did a new look today, almost exactly like Deanna (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_cFu-xMFiO4) except I didn't really use matte colors. Kinda shimmery and frost. Hope you all like! If you haven't checked her out.....YOU NEED TOO! She is awesome. Ok that's all for today.
Hand Hugs!

What a find.....

Hello all my beautiful people!
This is my first blog and I decided to share a little story with you.
So today I headed out to the mall to turn in some job applications, I first headed to the girls bathroom to do some minor touch ups to my makeup. As I came out, there in the middle of the floor was a ......Sephora bag(odd). I looked around to see if anyone had dropped it but no one was in sight. I picked it up and headed outside to see if anyone was out there. No luck. I waited a few more minutes and STILL no one came. I decided to take it to my car. I felt bad though because I was pretty sure whatever was in the bag was expensive.
So I go turn in my applications ( I turned one into Sephora too. Yay!) and then headed back to the car. I have to admit I was excited for finding that little bag. I looked inside to find MAKE UP FOREVER HD Foundation. A $40 product! AND it was just the right shade for moi!
What are the odds right???
Anyways, in my opinion, I have to say its a great product. I'm actually wearing it right now and it feels great. It really does what it says.
